Who We Are

We are a congregation which is independent of pre-determined beliefs. Instead we propose an open-minded and non-dogmatic approach to religious faith, founded on honest enquiry and respect for the beliefs of others.

All are welcome to our gatherings: whether you a passing stranger, a familiar face, or an old friend of the chapel; and regardless of what you believe or don’t believe in. Click here to see our service schedule.

Mid-Week Recharge

Half an hour of gentle meditation with poetry, music & peace. Every Thursday at 1pm.

Free and open to all – whether you are a member or our community, happen to be passing by, or nip out from work on your lunch hour.

Your special day at the Chapel

The Chapel and Garden Room can be hired for ceremonies: wedding, baby naming ceremonies, funerals, and other ceremonies marking your life’s milestones.  Additionally our peaceful garden can be used for photos and drinks at no extra charge.

The ceremony can be accompanied by the traditional concert organ if you wish.

We are delighted to hold same-sex marriages in the Chapel – indeed we were the first religious establishment in Leicester to do so!

Support our work

Our members contribute to the life of our community in many ways: including volunteering their time, work, or expertise. While financial support is not required of anyone, it does plays a crucial role in maintaining the vibrancy of our spiritual community, sustains our shared ministry, and contributes towards the preservation of our cherished building and chapel grounds.
